POC Radio HQ is an independent review site. We earn a small commission when you click certain links on this site and buy a product — at no extra cost to you. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases. This doesn't change the price you pay.
Where you see a "Buy on Amazon" or similar button, that link may contain a tracking tag. If you make a purchase through it, the retailer pays us a small referral fee. We also occasionally submit quote-request forms to manufacturers on your behalf (for B2B/enterprise radios), and some of those relationships may also involve a referral arrangement.
Our opinions are our own. We test radios hands-on where possible, and we say so explicitly when a review is hands-on-tested versus based on manufacturer specs. We turn down or don't publish reviews for units we haven't actually evaluated to our own standard, and a manufacturer providing a review unit doesn't buy a favorable rating — see our About page for how we source and label reviews.
Some reviews are based on units provided free of charge by manufacturers for testing purposes. When that's the case, it's noted on the review itself. We keep test units after review, same as most independent reviewers.
